Weights and measures...

Since we have been studying ancient history, we took a field trip to Chicago's Field Museum specifically to see the Egypt exhibit. We thought the mummies were totally awesome! We looked through the making mummies exhibit to see how the Egyptians did it. We were also able to see a "shaduf" first hand. Shadufs were used to draw water to the crops in ancient Egypt. Here, the kids are trying their best to move a massive pyramid stone!
